ANZO appoints portfolio manager

AMP NZ Office Trust (ANZO) has appointed Peter Walkinshaw to the newly-created position of Portfolio Manager – Commercial.

Peter is delighted to become involved with ANZO’s market-leading portfolio of prime commercial office buildings. He aims to enhance the value proposition between the portfolio and those of ANZO’s customers – occupiers and business partners – thus, building on ANZO’s investor’s vision of being New Zealand’s office landlord of choice.

Prior to joining ANZO, Peter was Manager Group Property Assets for British Airways – a position he held since 2004. He was a senior manager and member of British Airways’ property leadership team, responsible for leading the negotiation and delivery of all substantial property transactions including the delivery of British Airways’ Heathrow Terminal 5 commercial occupancy strategy.

His experience also spans estates and asset management, valuation, funding and balance sheet treatment of BA’s property, and compliance with accounting regulations, audit requirements and corporate legislation.

Peter is a registered valuer with a Bachelor of Commerce (Valuation and Property Management) and a
Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce Subjects from Lincoln University. He has over 15 years of professional experience, predominantly within a FTSE 100 company.
