ANZO director resigns – Mark Verbiest
September 14, 2011
Mark Verbiest has resigned as a director of AMP NZ Office Limited (ANZO). His resignation will take effect from 30 November 2011 and arises due to his desire to devote the necessary time and energy to his prospective new role as Chairman of Telecom, assuming the Telecom demerger is sanctioned by Telecom shareholders.
Mr Verbiest has been involved with ANZO since 2008 and was appointed an ANZO director by Haumi Company Limited (Haumi), ANZO’s largest shareholder, pursuant to ANZO’s constitution which allows any shareholder who owns more than 15% of ANZO shares to appoint a director. Haumi intend to appoint a replacement director following Mr Verbiest’s departure.
The Board thanks Mr Verbiest for his valuable contribution to ANZO, particularly during the corporatisation process, and wishes him well in his prospective new role as Chairman of Telecom.
